Expanding international relations

Indian artists at the Old Artists' Colony of Szentendre, 2012 June

At the invitation of the Old Artists' Colony Cultural Association of Szentendre and with the efficient support from the mayor's office two Indian artists, Mrs. Seema Moghe and Mrs. Pushpa Dravid worked here at the Old Artists' Colony. As an antecedent of the event, three artists from this Artists' Colony, namely József Buhály, László Kiss Zoltán and Imre Szakács, were invited to India by the Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, New Delhi in association with the Art Indulge Foundation. The event being given a broad media coverage was opened by Mr. Natesh Ramamurthy at the Goa International Centre. Following this show the paintings were put up in Mumbai at the World Trade Centre, where from the Indian side Mr. Vijay Kalantri, CEO and from the Hungarian side Mr. Tibor Kovács, director, Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre opened the exhibition. Felicitation addresses were given by Mrs. Seema Moghe and Mr. Imre Szakács. Presently the paitings can be seen at the Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre.
